My Water Hyacinth and Anacharis in my pond have grown exceptionally well this year and I would like to preserve some for next year. Please advise if these two plants can be wintered over here in Pennsylvania, near Valley Forge. I have successfully wintered my cattails, and lilies but have never tried these two guys.

The anacharis should be winter hardy if your lilies are surviving. The water hyacinth however does not tolerate any cold at all. You can try to overwinter it indoors in a bucket in a very bright location, but in my experience it is difficult to keep them going through our short days.
