|I purchased a grape tomato plant fron your new Horsham store in June. I have put in in a large container on my patio, have lots of blossoms but they all fall off and I am left with nothing but the stems, not one tomato. What am I doing wrong???
|Blossom drop can be caused by a number of factors. Over or under watering (your goal is to keep the soil evenly moist, not soaking wet and not drying out), warm or cold nights, hot days or cold days, escessive wind and escessive rain can all cause blossoms to fall. Insufficient pollination can also cause it and can be rememdied to some extent by shaking the plant once every day or so. You could also try one of the blossom set sprays and see if that helps at all.
