I have a standard mulberry tree (not weeping or ornamental) that I planted last year. This spring I moved it into a different area of my yard. It is already producing fruit but I noticed that the new leaf growth is different that the existing leaves. The new leaves are very big and rounded. The old leaves are more of a clover shape. Why is this happening and is it OK? |
This sounds peculiar I know, but mulberries produce several differently shaped leaves on the same plant, so I suspect what you are seeing is normal. |
