First of all, let me first tell you that I always use "Miracle Grow" for my plants and for my flowers, and have always had fantastic results. Thank You. My question is, that I grew Carrots from seeds and planted the sprouts when they were about 2 inches long. I planted them around May 21st. The carrot tops are about 7 or 8 inches tall at this time. When and how do I start harvesting them?

Pull one and see. Carrots can be harvested as soon as the carrot roots are big enough to eat. Many gardeners treasure true baby carrots and thus eat the thinnings needed to achieve ample space for the remaining maturing carrots. This also lengthens the harvest period for fresh eating carrots.
