In the past I have had alot of success with getting my hibiscus house plant to bloom. I bought a new one a year ago and it hasn't bloomed and shows no signs of doing so. It was in bloom when I bought it. As far as I know I am watering and fertilizing as I did with the last one. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Usually, lighting is the limiting factor on bloom, but if you are caring for it the same as the others that bloomed just fine, then I would suspect it is either a shy bloomer (some are very picky about their growing conditions and would prefer to be grown in Florida or a greenhouse) and is building its strength as the summer progresses or it might be rootbound and need to be repotted. It might also be in need of fertilizer, especially if the grower did not add any long release fertilizer to the soil mix or it has fully dispersed over time.
