|My gladiolas were nibbled to the ground by grasshoppers. They haven't come back up yet. Will they ever grow again? What can I do?
|If they had enough time for the foliage to replenish the corms in the ground, they should bloom again next year. Otherwise they may still be alive, but not able to put on a bloom show for next year.
About all that you can do at this time is to wait and watch. If you dig and store the corms each winter, go ahead and do that with these plants too. Just in case, plant some new corms also to hedge your bet!
