I purchased Graziella grass this spring and it is doing fine. Is there any winter or early spring care needed for this plant like cutting back, etc. If so when and how much.

Miscanthus sinensis varieties including "Graziella" should be cut back as short as possible (to about six inches or so) in either fall or early spring. Some gardeners consdier the seed heads to be ornamental and would rather not cut them off in the fall for this reason. Cutting it back will allow the new growth to emerge easily through the old stems next spring. In early spring you might also give it some complete granular fertilizer such as 10-10-10 according to the label instructions and/or a top dressing of compost.
