Although I haven't been able to find a source for seed, it is theoretically possible to start creeping myrtle from seed. Nurseries almost always propagated it via cuttings, and home gardeners propagate it by division. The plants are supplied as little clumps grown in small containers (often peat pots) and are set out in the garden between one and two feet apart. They grow quickly to fill in the area. The small plants are available by mail in the spring. Larger plants may also be available later in the season and for fall planting.
