| Yes. Gather the seeds as soon as they drop in autumn and sow them in a prepared seed bed. Seed clusters turn brown when ripe. You need to pry them apart to get individual seeds. Or, you can store them dry in the refrigerator. Sow them in late winter just as frosts disappear. About 5 weeks before sowing, soak the seeds for 48 hours, drain them, and put them back in the refrigerator. It takes seedlings about 2-3 years to become large enough to transplant into their final setting. Good luck! |
