I have a Saugaro Cactus that is starting to fade in color. It is starting to lose it's green color that it used to have. Why is this hapening? What can I do to help it bring it's beautiful green color back? |
As they age, saguaro will lose some color. (Take a look at saguaro growing in the desert naturally.) There's nothing you can do to change the color. Keep your saguaro healthy by insuring that it gets a deep soaking (water should penetrate about one foot deep well past the trunk area) about once a month in hot months. If summer monsoons are heavy, this won't be needed. Winter rains are usually adequate. |
