When would be the best time to plant my new tulip bulbs? I live in northern Indiana and we are still having some fairly warm weather. Thank You!

Tulip bulbs should be planted as soon as you get them. Even though the air temperature is warm, soil temperatures will remain about 40F at this time of year. Go ahead and plant your bulbs. If foliage appears prematurely, it won't hurt the bulb, and the leaves will stop growing when cold temperatures arrive. Hope your bulbs provide a spectacular display next spring!
