|In the fall allow a frost to kill back the leaves. Then dig them and allow them to air dry for several days. Next, store them in a paper bag or cardboard box with perhaps a little saw dust or peat moss. They store best at a moderate temperature of about 55 degrees. Check occasionally for mold. In spring, replant early in pots indoors for larger plants at planting time after all danger of frost.
