Please recommend some good perennials that can be planted in the fall to bloom in the spring, for a garden in Cleveland, Ohio

For a wonderful spring display you might concentrate now, in late October, on planting the spring blooming bulbs such as crocus and daffodils. While many or even most perennials can be planted in the fall, it is better to do so in September so they will have ample time to become rooted and established before the freezing weather.
