I know from reading your ads, that lady bugs are a good bug. Do they go dormant or what in the winter? I'm not seeing any in my area, alot of slugs, but no lady bugs. |
Ladybugs hibernate during the winter months so it's not likely you'll see many in your garden at this time of year. Since they feed mostly on soft-bodied aphids, ladybugs will only arrive in your garden after the aphids arrive. If you decide to release ladybugs to help control aphids, wait until late spring when the weather warms up. To help keep slugs at bay, why not place a few beer traps in your garden? |
