Cut sections of a healthy stem with one or two nodes. Slice each section in two lengthwise with a knife. If the interior is moist, root in moist sand to avoid rotting. If the interior is dry, use a well-draining potting medium. Put the sections cut side down on the sand or potting medium. Another method is to insert entire sections of stem vertically into the sand or soil. (Cutting them in half gives you more starts.) They can take 2-3 months to root and several years to reach houseplant size. Good luck!
