Seeds In Seedless Fuyu Persimmon Fruit - Knowledgebase Question

I have two grafted "Fuyu" persimmon trees growing side by side in my yard. A neighbor one street over has a "Hachiya" persimmon tree which I believe is cross pollinating my trees. "Fuyu" persimmons are supposed to be seedless. Is there anything I can do or use to prevent seed formation?

Many persimmon cultivars are parthenocarpic (setting seedless fruit without pollination). When plants not needing pollination are pollinated, they will produce fruits with seeds, which may be larger and have a different flavor and texture than do their seedless counterparts. I'm not aware of any way to keep your trees from being pollinated by your neighbor's trees. Wish I could offer more positive information!
