I have some Concord Grape vines but I would like to plant some seedless grapes. I love the taste of the Thompson White Seedless and was wondering if there were any seedless grapes that grow in this area with the same taste. I also like the Red Seedless we get in the stores around here. Do any varieties of the Seedless Red Grape grow in this area. Thankyou |
There are several varieties you might consider trying, although success will certainly depend on the growing conditions and microclimate you have to offer and taste is sort of a subjective thing. You will find a table showing seedless grapes here: http://www.wvu.edu/~agexten/ho... along with detailed information about their requirements. Based on your knowledge of your site and your preferences, you may be able to select one or more varieties to try. You might also wish to consult with your local County Extension for their suggestions based on local experiences with the different varieties. |
