According to the Cat Fancier's Association web site at Aloe vera can be poisonous to cats. You might want to limit her opportunities to chew on the plant now that she seems to have developed a taste for it, and check with your veterinarian about its toxicity level and any possible cumulative effects of repeated ingestion -- or how much it would take to be harmful.
