I have a few tulip, daffodil and crocus bulbs left from my fall planting. Can I plant them now in containers for spring blooms? What precautions should I take?

You could plant them in containers and then put them in a cool (but not freezing) location to chill. They will root while they are chilling. Then, in spring, you could still plant them in the ground. Precautions would be to protect them from freezing, from excessive moisture, and from hungry rodents.
