Will veggies in a raised garden benefit from growing in an all potting soil mixture?

To some extent the answer to your question would depend on the make-up of the potting soil compared to the native soil. In most cases native soil, well amended with organic matter such as compost, rotted leaves, or well rotted and aged stable manure/bedding is adequate. The best thing to do is run some soil tests and see how your soil really is. Your county extension (489-4315) should be able to help you with the tests and interpreting the results. In either case, you will still need to add organic matter to the beds on a regular basis to replenish and feed the soil.
