|When you state the bloom time of various flowers eg. June-July, do you mean that is the period when blooms first apper or do you mean that the plant will ONLY flower during that time?
|If a perennial is listed as blooming in June-July for example, then it means the plant usually blooms at some point during that period, depending on your local climate. For instance, a given plant might bloom in early April in Atlanta but not until late May in upstate New York where it is colder longer. Also, most perennials have a limited period of bloom. Again, depending on the heat in your area, a plant may bloom for only a week or hold out for several weeks in cooler conditions. Some perennials also naturally bloom over a longer period of time than others. Without knowing which plant you are asking about it is difficult to be more specific. A local gardener in your neighborhood who grows the plant would be able to give you the very best idea of what to expect.
