What information can I get on growing vegatables with seed tapes? I need to know if there is an advantage to tapes or just seeds. |
The real advantages of using seed tapes is that tiny seeds are easier to handle when embedded in the tapes, and the seeds come pre-spaced, so there's no need to thin your seedlings. Lots of gardeners like the tapes because the resulting plants are evenly spaced in nice, neat rows. Seed tapes cost a little more, but if you hate thinning your seedlings, you just might prefer the tapes. |
