Watering Indoor Ivy Plants - Knowledgebase Question

I have several ivy plants growing in my home and would like to find out how much watering is recommended for these when kept inside at a moderate temperature.

Heather,

That depends on light levels, growing mix (heavy vs. light and porous), plant size in relation to container size, and temperatures. However, watering them twice a week is usually about right. To check it out when in doubt, feel the soil an inch below the surface. When it is wet, wait to water. When it is barely moist to dry, go ahead and water again.
