I planted Texas Privets in my back yard last summer. I've noticed very little growth. What can I do to help with the plants growth?

It can sometimes take a plant a full year to become established after transplanting, so I expect your privets will begin to show new growth this spring. Be sure to provide adequate water during the growing season(one-inch per week, applied slowly, to thoroughly wet the root mass). Once new growth appears, feed lightly by broadcasting a balanced fertilizer around the soil under the plants. Scratch the fertilizer in lightly and water well. Be sure to apply according to label directions - too much fertilizer can burn plants!
