Once delivered, how long can I wait to plant Rugosa Rose hedges? |
All plants should be planted as soon as possible after you get them home. If the ground is frozen, you can keep your rosa rugosa plants in an airy place that's above freezing (such as a garage) until the weather cooperates a bit more. Keep them out of direct sunshine if the roots are packaged in plastic. Or, better still, remove the packaging altogether and "heel" them in by planting temporarily next to the foundation of your house. |
