When can we start our seeds indoors for transplanting into the garden? We are planting carnation, nasturtium, poppy, pansy, moss rose, columbine, delphinium, zinnia, salvia, morning glory and phlox. Can they all be planted at the same time? Transplanted at the same time? |
A general guideline is to start seeds 6-10 weeks before transplanting outside. Your last frost date is about May 3. You can plant all at the same time, but note that some of those flowers perform better when soil temperatures have warmed up, including moss rose, zinnia and salvia. Good luck! |
