I need fast growing plants for a new garden so that it will look good for a September 15th wedding. We are in Cupertino which is near San Jose, California.

Interested in vines, annuals, perennials, ground cover. Every color EXCEPT red, yellow, gold, and orange.

Thank you!

Finding plants with late-summer, early fall blooms is a challenge, especially since your color choice is limited to white, pink, blue and lavender. But, here are a few suggestions: Ageratum, Callistephus chinensis (China aster), Catharanthus roseus (Madagascar periwinkle), Coreopsis, Cosmos, Gomphrena (globe amaranth), Ipomoea, Lobularia maritima (sweet alyssum), Nicotiana, Scabiosa, and Zinna. If you plant Dahlia's now, they should be in bloom late in the summer, and there are many, many shades and flower shapes to choose from. Best wishes!
