I live in Zone 6 - Bucks County, PA in the Doylestown area. I want some tall ferns to plant along the back of my house. Most of it is quite shady. Is the ostrich fern a good fern that can survive our winters?

Ostrich fern is very winter hardy and will grow quite large where it is happy. This fern does well in shade or partially dappled morning light, with moister soil producing better results. A humusy and rich soil is also preferred.
