|Blueberries require a sunny spot with a very acid soil that is also humusy and evenly moist yet well drained. The best way to grow healthy blueberries is to run some soil tests and then amend your soil based on the results of the tests; your County Extension (866-7920) should be able to help you with the tests and interpreting the results as well as recommend varieties of blueberry that are most successful in your immediate area.
