I am looking for a fast-growing evergreen tree that would be appropriate as a screen between two yards. Both yards are only about 15-20 feet deep. The tree height should be about 15-20 feet, with the same width (or two trees that are same height but narrower). Any advice?

Thanks.

Some of the choices you have include Arbutus unedo (Strawberry tree), Cupressus (cypress), Leptospermum (tea tree), Myrtus communis (myrtle), Rhamnus alaternus (Italian buckthorn) and Thuja (arborvitae). Thuja is actually a tall shrub, but it makes an excellent evergreen hedge. Acacia is fast growing, as is sumac, and both would fit in the space you describe.
