I am looking for a fast-growing evergreen tree that would be appropriate as a screen between two yards. Both yards are only about 15-20 feet deep. The tree height should be about 15-20 feet, with the same width (or two trees that are same height but narrower). Any advice? Thanks. |
Some of the choices you have include Arbutus unedo (Strawberry tree), Cupressus (cypress), Leptospermum (tea tree), Myrtus communis (myrtle), Rhamnus alaternus (Italian buckthorn) and Thuja (arborvitae). Thuja is actually a tall shrub, but it makes an excellent evergreen hedge. Acacia is fast growing, as is sumac, and both would fit in the space you describe. |
