Ants are attracted to sweet excretions. They may be finding the nectaries in the blossoms or they may be herding aphids which excrete a honeydew when they feed. Start by inspecting your tree and eliminating any aphids you find (insecticidal soaps work well). Once the aphids are gone the ants should go away, too. If ants persist, place a sticky trap or Tanglefoot (available in garden centers) around the base of the tree. Ants will become hopelessly stuck in the sticky trap and you'll eventually eliminate them from your tree.
