What is the basic care for Scotch Broom to keep it healthy? We planted one last Spring, and it looks rather dead right now (4/8/01). |
These plants often suffer some winter die back, and they may also lose rather large sections at a time for no apparent reason. Trim away any truly dead wood and it should regrow this summer. Their preferred location is in full sun with a well drained soil, excess moisture in winter could be very damaging. |
