I have a problem. I find the need to remove my bulbs now from a section of a flower bed that is now being covering up with grass, weeds, and blackberry vines. Do I replant or preserve the bulbs for fall.

It's best not to disturb the bulbs until the foliage dies down naturally. The leaves provide energy to the bulb for next year's bloom. If you must move them, try to wait for an overcast or rainy day and replant them immediately. Water well and hope for the best. After the foliage withers away you can dig them up and store them until replanting time next fall.
