Last year I purchased several tulip bulbs but only got part of them planted before bad weather set in. Can I plant them this spring or if not how do I store them until fall when I can plant them?

Unfortunately, bulbs are living things and will not withstand long periods of storage, especially under home conditions. If they are still plump and firm and not moldy, you could try planting them since the alternative is to throw them away.
