What is the recommended fertilizer program for growing Bougainvillea in pots. Including type, and ppm?

Actually bougainvillea grow and flower better if they are stressed for nutrients and water. Fertilize once in spring with a product such as 15-30-15, following package instructions. Thereafter, watch the plant for signs of nutrient deficiency such as yellowing leaves. Only apply fertilizer if the plant needs it.
