Choke cherry can be propagated from seed by collecting the seeds in the fall after they have ripened on the plant. Mix the seed with slightly damp peat moss and keep them at 40 degrees F for 4 months, then sow them in a greenhouse, cold frame, or outdoors. You can also take cuttings in the spring and root them in a propagating case or mist unit kept at 65-77 degrees F. Good luck.
