|Oops, I just trimmed all the leaves off of my bulbs when they were still green. Then I read that this is probably why they didn't bloom this year. Is there anyway to help them to bloom next year even though I trimmed all the leaves off too soon?
Any advice would be great appreciated.
|The foliage transports carbohydrates to the bulb for next year's bloom and removing them too soon will halt that process. Your bulbs will survive, but they probably will not bloom next year. They should produce new foliage next spring. Allow the foliage to remain until it dries up on its own and your bulbs should bloom the following year.|
