Phyllostachys aurea is Golden Bamboo. It produces dense branches of dark green foliage on stiff, erect polished stems which are bright green at first, aging to brilliant yellow in color. It spreads by underground runners to form beautiful hedges or specimens and makes excellent tub plants. It's fast-growing to 10 feet tall and more, and will spread. Provide full sunshine and well-draining soil.
