On your climbing hydrangea, the sun exposure is "full to partial sun". Please define. Also, can this plant be placed into a large planter and placed in an area that would receive full sun?
Thank you.

This plant will tolerate different amounts of light but prefers a cool moist soil so it will do better in a shadier location in hot summer areas. A north wall or an east wall or morning sun or dappled light all day would be fine but a half day of afternoon sun would be too hot for it. Since it needs that cool moist soil it would probably not do well in a large planter in full sun.
