Ants are usually considered beneficial because they are decomposing organic matter and aerating the soil. However, here's a natural way to get rid of them. Make a slurry in a blender from oranges, rind and all. Immediately pour the slurry into the ant hill. The fumes will kill the ants. This works only on hot days and it must be used as soon as you make it.
