Pruning Hollyhocks - Knowledgebase Question

When and how do I prune a hollyhock for best results, or would it be best just to use a stake? It seems to be leaning and out of shape.

Hollyhocks can be cut back to the ground after their flowering stalk is dead, but otherwise I wouldn't recommend pruning them. Because of their height, they do tend to lean, so you can try staking it, especially if it's in a windy location.
