Astilbe in Sun Or Shade? - Knowledgebase Question

I have astilbe planted on the north (shady) side of the house. I now read that astilbe does well in the sun.
Which is correct?

They are happy in shade, but in cool-summer locations they can take sun if their soil is moist. Yours should be fine!
