|How can I get rid of ivy? Is there an effective ivy spray that will rid me of this problem and can I spray it all over the ground or do I have to spray it only on leaves?
RE: bulbs: Do royal dutch, windsong, & assorted color gladioli, jaguar lillies, anemones, dahlias, gran paradiso lillies, cally lillies & assorted color lillies have to be dug up in the Fall? Or, can I just cover the ground with a thick layer of mulch or other garden cover?
|Of the bulbs/plants you named, they would all need to be dug with the possible exception of the assorted color lilies. Asiatic lilies, oriental lilies and tiger lilies are hardy perennial bulbs and can be left in the ground for the winter.
Iny (Hedera helix) is a somewhat tenacious plant and can be difficult to control because it is deep rooted when mature. You can spray it with an herbicide containing glyphosate being careful to read and follow all of the label instructions. This is used as a foliar spray.
