|I am considering using perwinkle for a ground cover in a sunny spot. What are the pros and cons of perwinkle and is it hardy enough for mid-Michigan?

|Vinca needs partial or complete shade and moderate water. It is a fast grower, but it can be invasive. It can be cut back to regenerate new growth. Vinca minor (dwarf periwinkle) should be hardy enough and it is less invasive; vinca major will not be hardy enough.
