|I love lily-of-the-valley but since it is poisonous, I cannot grow it in my yard (I have a small child). I am wondering if I could grow it in a container and put it outside, high above the ground, in a container? Is this possible?
|Convallaria majalis, Lily-of-the-Valley, can be successfully grown in containers. Plant the pips about 1 1/2" deep and 4"-5" apart in containers and keep soil moist during the growing season. After foliage dies back, remove the pips, brush off any soil, place them in plastic bags and refrigerate until time to repot(December or January in your gardening region).
