There are several reasons I can think of why this could happen. Roses need a moist soil, but it should also be well drained. This means they will not tolerate soggy soil so it is possible you are overwatering them. Roses coming right out of a greenhouse may suffer transplant shock, meaning they suffer when exposed to the rigors of wind and sun. This may have happened to your plants. Finally, over fertilizing or chemical sprays or pest or disease can also cause a plant to have foliage problems. Allow the plants several weeks to acclimate and settle in, keep the soil moist but not soggy, and see if they leaf out again. Good luck with your plants!
