I planted my Garden on the 1st of May. It is supposed to get to 39degrees. Is I spray my plants with a fine mist, will it keep the frost from harming the Plants. Thanks. Lon |
I would not expect 39 degrees to cause a frost. Using frost blankets (spun bonded polyester is a typical material) or covering the plants with frost caps, overturned plant pots, recycled milk jugs, or cardboard boxes or a fluffy layer of straw for the night can also help. A fine mist can be helpful under certain temperature conditions, but the orcahrds in Fl for instance use special equipment to produce it. |
