Rhubarb Flower Stalk - Knowledgebase Question

Only one of my three rhubarb plants has several large stalks growing on it with little yellow flowers on them. I assume they are taking energy away from the growth of the edible stalks. Should I remove them?

Plants generally bolt (flower and set seed) because temperatures have gotten too warm or day length reaches a limit for their species, and they "think" it's time to go to seed. When the blossom stalk emerges, cut it off at its base, so the plant directs its energy to the leaves.
