|I bought shasta daisy seeds at the nursery because there were no plants left to purchase. I didn't read the packet first, and now I understand that I should have started the seeds indoors a while ago. Can I speed up the process somehow for this summer's planting? Will the seeds be any good next year?
|The seeds will probably last until next year if you store them in a closed container in the refrigerator. However, many gardeners will start perennial seeds in midsummer and then allow the plants to winter over in a nursery bed in the garden. That way they are in prime condition for transplanting the next spring and should bloom on schedule next year.
