I recently planted some Hosta about a year ago. The Hosta has grown very well but my Hosta has small holes on the leaves. What can I do to prevent this from happening. Thanks a bunch>>>>

There are two typical causes for holes in hosta leaves. One is hail damage, sometimes even before the leaves unfurled. There is nothing you can do about these after the fact. The other possibility is slug damage. You should also see silvery slime trails in the area. You can stop slugs by hand picking at night when they are active, setting traps, using baits (read and carefully folow the label instructions), or sprinkling diatomaceous earth on the soil surface around the plant.
